IT BEGINS WITH A
FORK IN THE ROAD...
Central to the WorkCrafting philosophy is the concept of Forking – the idea that in a world of constant change and disruption, there is no one-size-fits-all path to success.
Instead, each person must forge their own unique path, or "fork," based on their specific motivations, passions, and aspirations.
Forking involves breaking free from traditional constraints and expectations, embracing uncertainty and experimentation, and charting a course that aligns with your deepest values and goals.
"I imagined a labyrinth of labyrinths, a maze of mazes, a twisting, turning, ever-widening labyrinth that contained both past and future and somehow implied the stars. Absorbed in those illusory imaginings, I forgot that I was a pursued man; I felt myself, for an indefinite while, the abstract perceiver of the world."
The Garden of Forking Paths (1941)

The WorkCrafting methodology is built around three key phases: WOW, HOW, and NOW. Each phase represents a distinct stage in the journey, and is supported by a range of powerful tools, frameworks, and resources.
01. WOW
Discover Your Unfair Advantages
This phase is all about uncovering your unique strengths, skills, and experiences – what Forkers refer to as "unfair advantages." These are the qualities and capabilities that set you apart from others and give you a competitive and cooperative advantage in the market. By identifying and leveraging your unfair advantages, you can position yourself for success and create value in ways that others can’t imitate.
02. HOW
Explore Possibilities and Experiment
This phase focuses on translating your unfair advantages into tangible opportunities and experimenting with different paths and strategies. This is where Forkers navigate the dark maze of uncertainty, overcome the "Won't" barriers of resistance and reluctance, and test their ideas in the real world.
03. NOW
Take Action and Get Results
This phase is about bringing your ideas to life, climbing the mountain of implementation, and breaking through the "Don't" barriers of habit and inertia. This is where Forkers translate their experiments and insights into tangible results, building the systems, routines, and structures that will sustain their progress over time.
